Night Vision Goggles;PVS-7

The PVS-7 is the most recognized night vision device in the world. This combat proven unit is the standard issue in every modern military. With an extensive variety of image intensifiers ranging from Generation II+ to advanced Generation III, AN/PVS-7 will meet or exceed any expectations. Its single tube, bi-ocular configuration provides an excellent performance to cost ratio and features user friendly controls, built in IR illuminator, and internal low battery and IR indicators. Standard equipment includes headgear, demist shields, sacrificial window, lens cleaning paper, neck strap, and soft carrying case. Optional accessories such as magnification lenses, Magnetic Compass, and Helmet Mount further increase the versatility of this system. |

The USNV-14 utilizes a single US Made Generation 3 (64lp) image intensifier tube to provide crisp, clear images under the darkest conditions. Utilizing the most advanced Mil. Spec. housing, this system is built to handle the toughest of environments. The “single tube / single eyepiece” approach to night vision is based upon the proven concept that independent use of each eye maximizes the ability of the user to operate under a wide range of low light conditions. This tactic tends to enhance the field of view, while reducing the risk of temporary night blindness typically associated with night vision goggles. The user retains his full peripheral vision in the unaided eye in conjunction with the 40 degree field of view offered by the night vision device. The USNV-14 can be hand held, attached to a standard PVS-7 head-mount or helmet mount, or it can be installed on an optional dual-carriage head-mount providing a dual eye configuration like an AN/PVS-5. The USNV-14 is smaller and lighter then the Mil Spec PVS-14, and is fully submersible to a depth of 66 feet (20 Meters). The USNV-14 works with either a single AA, or 3.5 volt lithium battery offering more flexibility and longer battery life. The integrated IR illuminator enhances the ability of the user to read maps, and operate in confined spaces. The USNV-14 is compatible with most all weapon mounted IR laser aiming and illuminating devices.
