All scopes comes with rings for mounting to your rifle

 

1. Objective Lens- Front lens denoted by the last number in the scope description (i.e. 3-9x42 means the diameter of the front lens is 42mm)

2. Magnification- The “power” of the scope denoted by the series of numbers in the scope desription. The power will bring an object in closer ( i.e. means the scope variable power from 3 to 9. A 4x32 has a fixed power of 4

3.Windage Adjustment-The turrent on this side of the scope will adjust the reticle from right to left allowing for bullet droppage.

4.Elevation Adjustment- The turrent on top of the scope will adjust the scope up and down allowing for bullet droppage.

5.Magnification Ring- The dial numbered to demonstrate the range of power. 
note: Not present on fixed scope.

6.Ocular Lens- the viewing lens of the scope closet to the eye. The ring of the ocular lens adjust the clarity of the reticle.

7.Parrallax Adjustment- Usually only necessary on scopes with power ranges higher then 12. It is located on the left side of the Osprey scope adjacent to the windage/elevation knobs. This allows for the foccusing of the object being viewed at higher magnification.

8.Illumination Control- Infinitely adjustable two-color illuminated reticle. Both red and green illumination.
